Dear Parents,

Welcome to Upper-Grade Science at Fenton Avenue Charter School!  My name is Mrs. Hutter and I will be your child’s science teacher this year.  Below you will find some links you may use with your child at home and a highlight of what we will be exploring in science this year.  Our goal is to foster a hands-on, minds-on science experience.  All students will receive instruction that reflects a balanced, comprehensive approach to the California Physical, Life, and Earth science content standards as well as the Investigation and Experimentation skills at their grade level.  Our goal is that all students develop a soiid foundation of science knowledge along with the abilities to observe, describe, compare, inquire, and evaluate.

Important Information:

  • Students have science class twice a week.
  • Science homework is assigned once a week.
  • Homework is assigned at the second science class and is due at the next class.
  • Completed homework must be returned on time.
I look forward to a wonderful year with your children!
Mrs. Hutter
